My best friend & her husband had a baby y’all. And he is perfect. See?

I was so excited to meet Solomon Ashe & take his newborn photos! Seriously, one of the most special sessions I’ve ever done. His mom, Linda, is one of my favorite people in the whole world and due to extenuating medical circumstances she almost left us after giving birth. One of the scariest moments of my life & I know so many others that love her felt the same way. Shout out to her husband, Robert, for being a rock for his family during this hard time! I’m happy to report that prayers were answered and here’s a few photos of the happy little family at home to prove it.

Of course, I know you want to see more. So, here’s the future Red Raider. Wreck ‘Em Tech!

Nicole is expecting her first child and I was so excited when she asked me to do her maternity photos! This lady is gorgeous on the inside and out and I’m sure her baby girl will take after her mom. Baby Claire, we can’t wait to meet you!

Tonight, I feel sick. Literally sick to my stomach because I have so much and so many people have so little. I can’t stop thinking about the homeless guy who wouldn’t even look me in the eye as he held his cardboard sign tonight.  Or the one who is at the intersection near my apartment every weekday morning.  Shouldn’t I be the one ashamed? Shouldn’t everyone who has been so blessed and chooses not to be a blessing be ashamed? Sure, he could take the money and use it for drugs/alcohol or be a con artist. Or he could use it to feed his 2 year old son & buy a new shirt for his daughter who’s getting teased at school because she’s worn the same outfit for 4 straight days.  Does it really matter? That $10 would probably be spent on a fancy latte w/out a second thought.  I’m only accountable for my actions, not his. So, where’s the moral dilemma? Why do we lament over the poor & needy, but not do anything to help them? Talk is cheap & actions speak louder than words.  Jesus met needs. Let’s not just talk about the love of Jesus, let’s show it.

Miss Autumn is such a precious little girl.  She slept pretty easily during most of the session & didn’t put up too much of a fuss during outfit changes.  Isn’t she adorable? Her big brother, Drake, obviously thinks so!

Jennifer and I know each other from our days at Texas Tech University… we are ΣΦΛ sorority sisters!  So, of course I was excited when she found out that I would be in Denver for the weekend and contacted me about doing her maternity photos for baby #2! Her husband, Marcos, and son, Remy, made a special appearance in some of the photos as well.  The whole family is eagerly awaiting the arrival of Oliver!

Introducing Colt! This little cowboy was so fun to shoot (w/ a camera of course)! 😉 We had a great time feeding the horses, playing on the tractors, going for a walk, and climbing on the backhoe.  What a cute little man!

Taking pretty pictures is my favorite thing.  Especially when I have a fun, beautiful model with a great personality! Oh, and two gorgeous horses.  Wow, I’m in love! Meet Miss Anna and her horses, Ready & Higgins. Anna’s mom came to me wanting some photos to add to her portfolio that weren’t your typical studio shots.  So, we played outside for a while and came up with these beauties.  One of my absolute favorite shoots to date!
